3D Product Rendering & Animation

Overview

Baumit is a global leader in external wall insulation, facade renders, and healthy living solutions. They partnered with Studio Till to develop a suite of high-fidelity 3D assets to launch their new 'Screw-In' and 'Hammer-In' fixing systems.

The Challenge

The project required absolute technical accuracy to showcase specific engineering improvements in Baumit’s fixing components. The final assets needed to perform across multiple touchpoints—from high-resolution print catalogues to digital marketing campaigns—while allowing their internal design team the flexibility to compose their own layouts.

The Solution

We translated physical product samples into precise 3D digital twins. By creating high-spec models from the ground up, we were able to "x-ray" the product features, highlighting internal mechanics and material improvements that are impossible to capture through traditional photography.

Physical-to-Digital Precision

We studied physical components shipped to the studio, collaborating closely with Baumit’s engineers to ensure every thread and tolerance was reflected accurately in the 3D model.

Dynamic Feature Highlighting

Developed a series of animations that focus on the "key moments" of the fixing process, turning a complex structural component into an easy-to-understand visual USP.

Production-Ready Deliverables

Beyond the animation, we provided high-resolution renders with alpha channels (transparent backgrounds). This empowered Baumit’s internal graphic design team to seamlessly integrate the assets into existing print and web templates.
