Every animation project follows a structured, four-stage process designed to keep communication clear and delivery predictable. We combine creative thinking with technical knowledge, ensuring your animation moves forward with clarity at every step.
1. Discovery
Every project begins with a conversation.
We take time to understand your organisation, your audience, the challenge you’re facing and the outcome you need to achieve. This stage defines the purpose of the animation before we discuss formats or styles. By clarifying the objective early, we ensure the creative direction is aligned from the outset.
2. Development
Exploring ideas and developing your story.
We translate the agreed direction into a detailed storyboard – mapping camera movements, composition, and key visual beats. This is paired with a structured script to define pacing and narration. Seeing the full narrative and visual structure before production ensures the approach is locked in and every detail is considered.
3. Production
Building, animating, reviewing and refining.
With the storyboard approved, production begins. We build the animation scene by scene, starting with a rough cut that focuses on timing, composition and camera movement. This is usually presented in greyscale for you to provide feedback. We then move into full rendering, adding textures, lighting, refined motion, music and voiceover. A near-final version is shared for detailed review before completion.
4. Delivery
Polished animations, ready to play.
Once approved, we deliver final assets in the required formats for your channels and platforms. We ensure the animation is technically optimised and ready for launch, whether for social, presentations, web or large-scale display – we can also offer guidance for use if required.
