3D Technical Visualisation

Overview

FloPlast is a leading manufacturer of plastic building and plumbing systems. They required a high-fidelity technical animation to launch FloFit+, their advanced, flexible push-fit plumbing solution for hot and cold water applications.

The Challenge

Plumbing systems are often hidden behind walls or under floors, making them difficult to demonstrate through traditional video. FloPlast needed to showcase the internal "push-fit" mechanism and the flexibility of the piping in a way that felt tactile, reliable and easy for installers to understand.

The Solution

We developed a 3D environment that allowed for exploded views of the FloFit+ components. By visualising the internal seals and locking mechanisms in motion, we provided a level of detail that photography cannot capture. The result was a clear, technical narrative that prioritised functional clarity for a trade audience.

We focused on the precise movement of the push-fit connection, ensuring the animation accurately reflected the ease and security of the real-world installation process.

Versatile Asset Suite

Developed a series of high-resolution 3D renders alongside the animation, providing FloPlast with a consistent library of imagery for their printed technical manuals and digital marketing.
